ABOUT

Computational Science and Engineering is the discipline of applied science and engineering that is devoted to the development of computer simulation as a scientific paradigm for the study and prediction of physical phenomena. The Canadian Association for Computational Science and Engineering (CACSE)/Association Canadienne pour le Calcul en Sciences et Génie (ACCSG) was established in 2019 with objectives to promote and foster education, research, and industrial practice in Computational Science and Engineering, as well as to organize and coordinate activities in Canada such as periodic national and regional conferences.

The Executive Council is composed of:

President: Dr. Serge Prudhomme, Polytechnique Montréal

Vice-President: Dr. Reza Vaziri, University of British Columbia

Treasurer: Dr. Artem Korobenko, University of Calgary

Academic Advisor: Dr. Marc Laforest, Polytechnique Montréal

The 1st Conference of the Canadian Association for Computational Science and Engineering (CACSE)/Association Canadienne pour le Calcul en Sciences et Génie (ACCSG) will take place in beautiful Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Banff, AB on January 14-17, 2023. The conference will focus on Recent Trends and Developments in Computational Science and Engineering.

Abstract Submission

Please send your abstract directly to artem.korobenko@ucalgary.ca. We do not have any restrictions on Abstract format. You can use any template you want. The deadline for abstract submission is November 14, 2022

Room reservation

The Conference venue is world-famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. We have negotiated a rate of $269/night and we hope that our participants will stay at the conference hotel for this inaugural in-person CACSE conference. The room reservation can be made using this link: Reserve a Room

The conference rate will be available until December 15, 2022 or until the room block is full, so please make your room reservation sooner. 

Registration

The registration fee for the conference is $485 which include lunches, coffee breaks, reception and the conference dinner.

Vancouver was selected as a top destination for the 16th World Congress on Computational Mechanics in 2024.
